Ours is a dream-come-true.

A life we both embraced,

A brood so dear this home has graced.

And, looking back, whatever errors we have made

Are fading quickly, leaving shelter bright and new.

Ours is a time of life

When choices made and hopes gone by

Emerge as “what was meant to be.”

When we learn to cherish all that’s seen

And all we’ve yet to see.
