Garden of the Resurrection September 18, 2019 / Words / No Comments In the Garden of the Resurrection, Dust and dreams mingle softly with the Earth. All our hopes and all that we had held so dear Are but fading figments there, as distant as this mortal’s birth. Garden of the Resurrection
In the Garden of the Resurrection,
Dust and dreams mingle softly with the Earth.
All our hopes and all that we had held so dear
Are but fading figments there, as distant as this mortal’s birth.
And yet, the Garden draws and holds us near,
Casting warm, endearing shadows over days and over years;
Over tears and over fears it reigns.
It beckons us come hither, it waits in gentle peace
For us to gather what is left and plant these in the Garden’s sphere.
