Dressed in red and shiny shoes,
These are the Angels sent from God above
To sing, to play, to bring tears of joy and sorrow.
They are ghosts from our past.
They connect us to generations hence
Whom we will meet only in heaven.
They receive all of the best and the worst in us,
And they sing the songs of our lives.
They run along the aisles of our sanctuaries.
They bring the light, and when they leave
They take the light away.
