We are the Wall

We are the wall,
The quick and the dead.
The line between us, paper thin.
The time between the here and now
And remember when, forever blurred before the pall.

We are the wall,
What is seen and what is said.
We stand to take a stand and fight,
And every candle that we light
Will cast a shadow long and tall.

We are the wall,
Of the heart and of the head.
Forged in pain and formed with love.
Knowing any one of us could fall,
We heed the call. We are the wall.
